Please join us for our annual FLY Chili Cook-off! Our annual Chili Cook-Off will be October 14th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. We are excited to see the growth of this event serve not only as a social gathering, but also as a good opportunity for our representatives to meet their constituents.

We look forward to the following guests: Gubernatorial Candidate Lynn Walz, Nebraska Senator Stan Clouse, Nebraska Senator Dan Lonowski, and members of the Kearney City Council.
Our youth group is planning to bring their own takes on the classic dish, so there will be a great variety as always! I plan to reach out to our chili veterans soon, and if you would like to be a chili chef, please sign up in the Narthex, reach out to the office, or contact Pastor Logan. This event supports our youth to attend the 2027 ELCA National Youth Gathering, and we appreciate you being a part of our journey to Minneapolis!
We thank you for making this event special and helping us to connect with the wider community of Kearney.
