MARTIN & KATIE’S COFFEE HOUR
This group meets every Thursday morning at 10:00 am at the church. It is open to everyone, so come have a cup of coffee and enjoy the fellowship with other First lutheran members and guests!
MOMS’ LUNCH BUNCH
Women of all ages are welcome to enjoy lunch, fellowship and Bible study. This group meets at Subway Restaurant, 1302 1/2 W. 24th Street (just south of UNK on Hwy 30) on 2 Mondays each month from 12:00-1:00 pm.
QUILTING
There are two opportunities for our quilting fans at First Lutheran! The first Monday of every month women meet at 9 am to sew quilt tops and tie those quilts that are used for Lutheran World Relief. They often share a brown bag lunch at noon.
During Sept – May, hand quilting is done on quilts that will be taken to Camp Carol Joy Holling for the quilt auction. They meet on Wednesday evenings during F.R.O.G.
CARD MAKING
Everyone is invited to join in the fun and fellowship of card making. Betty DeBeck leads this group in creating cards that are sent to members of our church family. The stamps, patterns and supplies are provided and Betty is very happy to train anyone who is interested in helping. Stay for just a while or stay for the whole morning. Be a part of this worth-while outreach project and enjoy a morning of Christian fun and fellowship. Card Making meets several times a year. Watch the newsletter for dates and times.
